The Problem

The existing LTM experience had grown over time, but content had become harder to navigate—especially as messaging expanded to serve very different audiences with different needs.

  • Patient and caregivers needed motivation, community, and approachable education

  • HCPs needed structure, research-heavy content to support learning and readiness

Both sites needed clearer navigation, more intentional content organization, and a shared UX foundation—all delivered on a tight timeline from IA to launch.

The Research

Segmentation and mindset research showed that both HCPs and patients approach treatment decisions very differently, ranging from cautious, prevention-focused mindsets to more proactive, growth-oriented ones.

That insight reinforced the need for:

  • clearer pathways through content

  • better signposting for "what's next"

  • UX patterns that could support education without overwhelming users

Given the pace and complexity of the work, the UX focus was on clarity, reuse, and speed.

  • Created the information architecture and wireframes for both Patient and HCP sites under and accelerated timeline

  • Redesigned site navigation and content structure to make complex information more discoverable and easier to scan across both experiences

  • Developed shared design system components to be used across Patient and HCP properties, ensuring consistency and faster iteration

  • Designed the Patient site to encourage connection, including a blog and social sharing widget to support community engagement

  • Structured the HCP experience to support education, prioritizing data-heavy, research-driven content and clearer pathways to deeper learning

Learnings & Outcomes

Designing two distinct experiences side-by-side reinforced how important information architecture and content hierarchy are when timelines are tight and content is complex.

By focusing on reusable systems, clearer navigation, and audience-specific UX needs, the LTM 2.0 foundation was built to scale—supporting future phases without requiring a full redesign each time.
